DII-A SOFTBALL
DISTRICT TOURNAMENT No district tournaments in the MIDDLE REGION MIDDLE REGION TOURNAMENT All teams will play in the regional Regional tournament Top 4 teams qualify for STATE • 4 groups of 4 teams play standard double elimination bracket • winner of each bracket advance to a semifinal and final/3rd place • 3 Region Champions receive a bye to the STATE QUARTERFINAL round • 1 Region Runner-Up (2024-25 is MIDDLE #2) receives a bye to the STATE QUARTERFINAL round (3 year rotation cycle) • Remaining qualifiers play in the single game STATE XII round • STATE QUARTERFINAL round is a Best-of-3 series DII-AA SOFTBALL EAST: No region tournament, top 3 teams qualify for STATE 10 MIDDLE: No region tournament, top 5 qualify for STATE 10 WEST: standard double elimination tournament, top 2 qualify for STATE 10 |
